DJ Shimza's One Man Show (OH.MY.SHIMZA)



DJ Shimza's Annual One Man Show is back with great vigour this 25 December 2014. This showcase of musical talent is returning to the people of Tembisa, not excluding the rest of Gauteng to what is always the most memorable and gigantic concert. DJ Shimza, real name Ashley Raphala is the pioneer of this musical spectacle, roping his incredible musician friends and colleagues to perform for thousands of fans at Mehlareng Stadium in Tembisa every Christmas day.

OMS is on its 6th anniversary and has been well received over the years. The show has featured musical giants such as Big Nuz, Donald, MiCasa, Zahara and many other great names. This year is no different with a more heavier and interesting line-up featuring the likes of Hip hop superstars AKA, Cassper Nyovest, K.O, Kid X, OkMalumKoolKat, Riky Rick, Mpumi, Zano, MiCasa, Bucie, Kwaito legend Thebe, and Shimza's stable mate Tumelo amongst many others. The show is a philanthropic focused initiative started by the Channel O and Metro FM DJ in 2009, the show helps buy under privileged school kids around Tembisa school uniform and stationary for the coming year and helps with job creation in Tembisa. Part of the proceeds to this show will also propel this selfless movement forward. DJ Shimza and his numerous partners have proven to care about their audience, this year they have taken it upon themselves to provide a great and memorable show.

Booking Information

Gates open at 12h00, the show starts at 12h00 and it is 17 hours long, with no interval. Paid parking is available at the venue and the venue has special ramps and toilet facilities for disabled patrons. Refreshments will be available at the venue. You can bring cameras, blankets, picnic baskets and folding chairs, but drugs, weapons and alcohol are not allowed into the venue. The show is not open to patrons under 18 years.
